Thats a possibilty that ur sound card driver is crashing. You may want to check for newer drivers.

Juggernaut09 ru sure that you have the latest catalyst/radeon drivers for that vid card? it is fairly new and could be buggy. you may also want to try turning off the ati control bar if it loads when windows starts.
has it ever worked fine before jug? have u made any software changes lately if it did work before?

I started having this problem yesterday.  The only thing I can come up with that has changed is I am now using a 5.1 system instead of a 2.1.  I changed the configuration in the Control Panel to show the update....maybe that's the reason?

but... why especially with the special forces add on...?
BF2 run perfectly but the SF  often crashes back to desk top

also while loading server map :-S

no catalyst bar active.. running on a 9800Pro.
2 gig Ram, that shouldnt be the problem.. anyone an idea?
