So far I have had to download the 1.41 patch twice.  The issue is, I run the patch installer, it apparently installs correctly.  But then when I run the game, i am still only on 1.4.  There is like 1 BF2:SF server to choose from... and its fucking annoying.  I have tried re-installing it a few times, and I am still running 1.4.   Somebody please come up with an idea that doesnt involve uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and redownloading the patches.

Have yuou tried downloading patch from different website ? try that see how you get on.

Mines the same, get about 25 Vanilla servers. Can't really be fucked fixing it TBH. PM me if you work out the problem.

I have figured out that they did a half-assed job of updating. In some places it still says its 1.4(0). If you uncheck the filter Same Version Only you get a lot more results.

Edit:
What I mean is your game still thinks its 1.4 and filters out all the 1.41 servers. If you uncheck the filter, more white servers (ones you can join) come up.

yeah I downloaded the patch before it was official on EA's web site someone posted the patch here and it works fine , try installing it from different site.

I downloaded it from Downloads.com at first.  Or .. like one of those... gameplanet, fileworld, gameworldplanetspy...  didn't work.  Than I downloaded from EA itself, same issue.  Can I rollback the game version or do i just have  to reinstall it all?
