First strike is a mod being developed for the 2142 engine. I think it is about star wars... you fight the rebel forces. Anyways, majorassault posted the linky-link, so go there and found out more about it.

I'm not sure when it's gonna be released. As far as i know, they're still doing a lot with it... mapping, rendering, voice-overs, etc. Looks pretty cool, it might be the PoE for 2142.
