So I've been playing sniper alot lately ( no I dont gaymore whore) and I am wondering what you guys think. Do you think that the bolt sniper rilfes are equal, better, or worse than the semi autos.
Or do some people think some are better than others.

bolt action.......in the game and real life.....extreme accuracy can only be obtained with a bolt action.....lol i say that as i look over at my springfield m1a (semi)....maybe i should look into getting a 700......

I wish that when you cocked the bolt on the bolt actions it would stay in scope mode. In real life snipers are trained to do this.

In the game, depends on the range of your target. Medium range - semi (SVD/Type88). Anything beyond that - bolt.

bolt. and the m24 tbh, close second, the l96, purely because i find the m24 easier to use at range <150 metres. The l96 excels at anything further tho, due to thinner cross-hairs

semi auto...head shot =kill and if u miss just try to dshoot him in in the head again..
bolt action...too long reload time
both same power if in the head but semi auto faster so better chance of hitting head in the 10 seconds than the m95
if i had to scoose a bolr action i wud use m24 its good and l95 obviously

Depends on the user, their preferences and how good they are; also the map to some extent.

Personally bolt-action all the way for me, M24 being my choice if it's available.

I'm traditionally a bolt action but once in Ghost Town when we were raping the SAS spawn I didn't get my unlocks in there so I just started using the SVD and was amazed at the accuracy it could achieve.
