Every airline traveller entering the United States will now be assigned a secret computer-generated terror threat score, based on information from their car number-plate to the food they ate on the flight.

The rating cannot be seen or challenged and will be held on file by American authorities for 40 years. The scores, available to US state and local police, foreign governments, courts and potential government employers, are assigned to people after computers assess their status using factors including their travel records, where they are from, how they paid for their tickets, their car records, their seating preference, past one-way travel, and what meal they ordered.

Privacy groups are alarmed at passengers' lack of knowledge or right to query ratings.

We all knew already that the americans are becoming a pain in the ass, when it is on controls on the airfield. I liked going to america for business, but now I hate it to fly there ones a year. They broke open my lugage last time because I putted a lock on it. they putted a note on it if I tried to Sue them, I would get perm banned from the US. I'm starting to hate those fuckers there.

They do it to American's luggage too, seemingly at random. My dads bag was searched, his lock broken, and they left that note you got as well in it.

yeah, i highly doubt that a system like that can produce effective results with regards to catching people. Honestly, do you think keeping records on people that buy one way tickets will produce some sort of "bullet proof" mechanism for catching bad guys.

All this does it further incriminate innocent people and basically show our isolationist stance towards how we treat anyone entering this country....boy oh boy being afraid sure does make a lot of money here

Well that is great and I applaud and admire your adventures, as well as your desire to culture yourself through travel. But if this is how our government sees fit in securing ourselves, then dont mock it. I personaly dont understand it but I dont call it stupid along with other ideas we have.
