Ok, I got BF2: SF for Christmas, just installed it, and I'm excited to play some SF maps. I join a server, after the whole thing loads, right before I click to join the server, this message comes up:

I'm like, ok, maybe it's just that one server. So I try TEN more servers, and I get the same message. This has never happened before. Just until I installed SF. Am I missing a patch? I still get a list of 800+ servers. Did I do something bad?

What the HELL. Any imput would be greatly appreciated.

If you can't read that message, it says:

"This server only allows players with unmodified content to join. Revert your version of BattleField 2 to the current official version to join."

Yeah, I have the same problem...And I DID PATCH IT TO 1.12!! And I STILL get it.

u can still play sf maps with your origianl battlefield 2 disc. mine works so i dont see why yours shouldnt. try that.

after you install special forces you have to patch to 1.12 AGAIN. then it will work.

i have a prob man.after the unmodified content comes up i play singleplayer maps.but when i load it says waiting for 1 player to join.so i dissconnect and try again and the same happens.wtf!!

well if reinstalling the patch doesn't work then you are going to have to uninstall and reinstall.
my friend had the same problem for awile that's the only thing that worked

Yeah it happened to me once just because im too lazy to reinstall i stormed to google for two hours and find nothing then after i wasted 2 hours i uninstalled and installed the both games so take my advice dont waste your time and just reinstall will ya.
