SO just wondering. I have approximately $25-$50 in gift cards to best buy (depending on whether or not I buy my borther's) and was wondering whether I should squeak out the extra $$ to get a 5.1 surround sound system for my computer/entertainment room or if I should get BF2:SF. Taking all ideas.
Well, SF is a good addition, and the guns added to it make it a little easier to kill people...
But if you're going to get the speakers for your computer, I would advise against doing that unless you have a good soundcard (not the stock mobo sound bit but something like an Audigy 2 zs thats worth plugging speakers into). Besides, for 50 or so bucks you're not gonna get very good speakers, so you should go with the SF expansion and buy a DVD or something.
Personally, I use headphones for all my gaming needs - i have the Plantronics DSP 500 - they retail for between like 50 and 80, and they come with their own driver. They're USB and they make the game pretty bad ass. I compared them today between these and my cheap 25 dollar 6.1 surround sound speakers from ebay and these definitely pwn it pretty hard.

I regret buying SF. I'm not a big fan of the night maps, and that's enough to keep me from playing SF regularly. But if spending $30 on an expansion for weapons is worth it, then go for it. Unless you actually like night maps and all the snazzy stuff it offers...
I'd go for the surround sound if I were you.
