I agree. They talk about soldiers and how it should be this and that. When really it's just about american soldiers, white american soldiers to be precise. Just be happy that Australians are white, if this happened to the Chinese or any other country they wouldn't even read the topic. It's sickening.
Oh, and one more thing.  This forum is "based" in the USA, so deal with it or leave.
Exactly, it's based in the USA. Not Soviet Russia or China. However, I stand by my comment that most Americans only care about white american soldiers and have no real respect for other armed forces.

y don't you go back and re-read my "fag head" post, when i said "shit happens" it was in reference to rotor failure, turbine breakup, hydraulic pressure loss, and other events outside the influence of the flight crew and was in defense of the pilot's skill

Hey, where did we get these shitty Blackhawks from anyway?

I reckon we've been sold lemons. Again.

Collins class subs anyone?
was wondering how long it was going to be for someone to blame the US, oh wait, we don't maintain them for you
Actually the helicopter is made by Sikorski and Boeing not the US alone, Thanks bye.
sikorsky:
"
Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation, is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced helicopters for commercial, industrial and military uses. Sikorsky's products have been saving lives since 1944, when a Sikorsky performed the world's first helicopter rescue mission.

Based in Stratford, Connecticut, Sikorsky has major facilities in other Connecticut locations as well as in Florida, Alabama and Wisconsin. Revenues in 2005 were $2.8 billion."

Boeing:
" Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A., Boeing employs more than 155,000 people in some 67 countries. This represents one of the most diverse, talented and innovative workforces anywhere. More than 83,800 of our people hold college degrees--including nearly 29,000 advanced degrees--in virtually every business and technical field from approximately 2,800 colleges and universities worldwide. Our enterprise also leverages the talents of hundreds of thousands more skilled people working for Boeing suppliers worldwide."

now why would i think it was a jab at the US?

thanks, bye

And who founded Sikorsky the first person to invent the helicopter Igor Sikorsky Russian the Boeing came up with the YUH60 while Sikorsky build the UH60 and beat the boeing design. Put in UH60 in google. Its not a jab at the US its a bit of comedy (youd understand if you were Australian) cause we got sold a bunch of collins class subs which actually made too much noise it would be crazy to use them in real war. And the person was just making the joke we got ripped off again because we also had the seaking accident.

EDIT:What i was trying to get at with Russians is that it was first started and designed by them. And oh Sikorsky doesnt sound very American does it? Its like calling a Kaleshnikov a Colt.

I gotcha now, it's just that 98% of all the topics here end up blaming the US for something, tends to make us defensive.

Since we're a country of immigrants, names are hard to judge by here. I thought it wasn't until later, but he became a US citizen in 1928.

I went down to the sikorsky website and was wondering is anyone interested in going halves on a H92? We could use it to get to work/wherever faster and there would be little or no traffic.

Edit in reply: Yeah i try not to blame the US when possible its not your fault.

RIP to the SAS crewman that died and my deepest condolences to his family. My prayers go out to the crewman lost at sea still.

The helicopter wreckage sunk 2000-3000 metres (2-3 kilometres) which is like 1.5 to 2.0 miles deep. We might never know what caused it.

idk, there is a race on to tap the marianas for oil, in comparison that's not so deep.  you'd be surprised what some companies will donate to help in accidents like this

Yeah i think the difficult part would be getting a sub down there finding it and being able to extract the data recorders dont forget they are being pressed down by tonnes of water and it might take a lot of power.

I didn't exactly see you condolence post in this thread.  Practice what you preach man.  You don't know jack about the US and you bigotry is showing.

I could have sworn my post said "where did we get them from?".

Sounds like a question to me, but gee, I'm not much of a reader....

Could you call that a reaction? Does that make him reactionary?
Of course if I wanted to BLAME someone I'd try to find out first, but, meh.

Anyone hear about our latest aircraft radar buy?
