Was helping my friend with it and thought it might be helpful to some of you guys
Ill show how to add dvds later.
Also this should work with Google videos and more
1. Alright, you have to be using Firefox(most of you are firefox users). First get this addon
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/
-If your using Firefox 2.0beta then it might not be compatible, so your going to need to use this tool to make it work with FF2.0
http://users.blueprintit.co.uk/~dave/we … index.html
(Using it is pretty self explanatory)
2. Alright after getting Videodownloader to work, you should see a icon in the bottom right of the browser. Go to
http://youtube.com/watch?v=fjgVGEz2qoU Or any other youtube video
And click that icon, it should give you a popup with a big logo saying Videodownloader, Click save this file (might take a while for the Save option to pop up so try to be patient).
The file will be named Get_video i believe. To get it to play on your computer you will need a FLV player. Get it here
http://www.download.com/FLV-Player/3000 … 67081.html
YOU MUST RENAMED THE VIDEO FILE to something Like MGS.flv, must include the .flv extenstion. The video icon should change and now you should be able to play it on the FLV player.
Now getting it to the ipod.
Tools needed:
Dr Divx http://sourceforge.net/projects/drdivx
Videora (or any other program used to convert divx videos into Mp4) http://www.videora.com/
Divx 2.0 codec http://www.divx.com/
1. Open Dr. Divx (exe is in the Divx folder)Go
Go to the input area and select the flv file. you might have to select All Files to see flv files
2. Click encode. Then you will see a queue list, at the bottom of the list click resume and it should start converting it to .divx format.
3. Now open Videora and select that Divx file( C:\Program Files\DivX\Dr. DivX 2.0 OSS\Encodes ) and convert it to Mpeg4.
4. Now find the mpeg4 file, usually located in "C:\Program Files\VideoraiPodConverter\Videos" and open it in itunes.
There you go, good luck
