I got it on Iron Gator while being the SEALS. It was a 64 server with only like 25 people on it so the round was really long. I kept on sneaking up on the guy in the AA and took out the Apache right after it's take-off. Just, when you try it, make sure uncap rape is allowed or you'll be kicked real quick.
I got mine on Ghost Town... I though this was one of the easiest ribbons there are? I even had more problems with the tank one.

The hardest one is crew specialist ribbon with 10 kills and 21 driver points.
I actually got the Crew Specialist Ribbon after getting a fellow squad mate to armor whore while I was gunner. :-P
By the way, I don't think you need a driver special ability assist because I never got that when I recieved the ribbon.

I got lucky when I got mine. I sucked at helis in general and it was the first time I spent the whole round in a helicopter. I had a great gunner on Iron Gator and just kept mowing people down. I got my regular Heli and SF Heli ribbon in the same round.
Gunf or me in Iron Gator or in any other map for that reason and you will have it in no time. Probublyt he crew service ribbon too.
Gator is the best map for the heli awards. So easy to dominate in a chopper, especially the HIND with the MEC.

The HIND is awesome, only Ghost Town addicts think otherwise since almost none of them line up TV shots - they only know of pilot rockets. In which case, yes, the Apache is better.
But the chopper isnt even being used at half capacity if thats the case.
