For me, I just ignore racial remarks and actions because it is a true display of weakness and ignorance. My problem is mainly with people who only complain about their race/nation. Stop it all, not just towards one race. I know I will get flamed for this but I dont care, The Native Americans had it much worse than the Africans. Do some research if you dont agree. Just as many Natives were enslaved as Africans and if you have never heard of the Trail of Tears (http://ngeorgia.com/history/nghisttt.html) look it up. Natives were murdered and the survivors were forced to march 1,000 miles ON FOOT and then enslaved when they reached their destination, mostly in what is now the Dakotas. At least Africa still has their country and culture.

These teams pick their names as references to something strong, proud, brave, honorable, bad-asses, unbeatable, whatever. Or there is references to honor their city.
