Uhm, no... Pretty much already been said, but idiot commanders that give me a move order when I've already got a perfectly good attack order established and my squad is getting field upgrades and capping flags...

I'd like to see Squad members to vote againts the Squad Leader if he hasn't put out an attack order within a certain time limit.

Or If a Squad member requesting some orders and don't have one the Squad leader will get minus points the longer he waits but this will kick in like 20-30 seconds after the Squad member have asked for orders. This will force Squad leaders to put out an order and will actually hint players about something.

I think I'm gonna post that on the EA forums. :3 See what happens.
+ 1 I like most of this idea.  The vote option is good, but the minus points could become a problem. If the SL has already given a good order and the squad member wants to do something else, the SL shouldn't get penalized or kicked because of the order request being ignored.  How about if we tweak it a bit:
Maybe if a vote is successful, it wouldn't kick right away, but if an order wasn't given in 1-2 minutes, the squad leader would be docked points and then kicked.  I put it at 1-2 minutes because if you're stuck in a firefight, sometimes you can't take the time to give an order.

The vote option would've worked perfectly for me last night.  Jumped into a server last night and most of the squads were full so I jumped in as the 4th member of another squad.  The SL only gave ONE order for half the round, so I jumped out and invited the rest of the squad under my leadership.  We really started racking up points doing the same thing we had done half the round.  All the other guy had to do was give orders and we would've received better credit for our contribution to the team.

i think the squad member should be able to mutiny the squad leader... i see so many squads with crappy leaders but good members...

Maybe, but cap it somehow, only once in a round so you choose who you are goin to remove with care, if anything I think an easier soloution would be to allow squad members to mutiny the leader, out of squad or atleast out of the leader position.  Next leader would go to whom ever would of got the spot if the leader left of his own will.

No to all the suggestion so far leave it as it is there enought BS with munity votes againts good commanders. Sometimes the commander gets munity but theres no one that wants to replace him and then you end up stuck with no commander.

the mutiny vote system is pretty wacky right now though anyways, if you click on manage squad sometimes you'll automatically start a mutiny vote.

If there are a lot of squad members under a bad squad leader... The Commander has ONE thing to try and get people to leave that squad (Short of typing it out)

"Squad, split up and for two squads!"

When squad leaders refuse my orders, I have a method that sometimes works:

2nd ignore (Or refuse, even though they have no active order)
<Follow orders soldier!>
<Give order again>

3rd try:
<Rebuke>
<Follow orders>
<Order>

4th try (New):
<Order and wait> (No response, go below)
<Rebuke>
<Rebuke> (To make sure it isn't the 'Pay attention out there!')
<Divide and form 2 squads>
<Ignore any support requests and provide no UAV or Supply drops to that squad>

After that, it's on the squad members.

Commander's shouldn't, but Squad members can cycle their squad leader with a vote, like a mutiny but they just get removed from power.

Also, the commander mutiny should only apply to people in squads, after all, they are the ones suffering.

No.  People can always leave the squad and join another one.  Just because a SL doesn't do what the commander wants him to do doesn't mean he's a bad leader.
i beg to differ my friend. theres nothing more annoying that having a squad leader say no to an order, especially when hes going in the direction your ordering him.
There's nothing more annoying while leading a squad than a commander who repeatedly gives orders to attack places you already have your order marker on.
That's another example of why there are less and less people willing to go commander.

When the commander does that it's so that he gets commander bonus points. I mean why shouldn't he get one? You're going there anyways, and he's helping you with UAVs, Supplies, and EMP/Orbital strikes, the least you can do is accept the order so they he gets something out of it.

A commander doesn't NEED to set the command for him to get points.

Squad member success point = Squad leader success point = Commander success point. Regardless of who set the waypoint.

Not to be confused with commander SCORE, which is an entirely different thing, still unrelated to commanders giving orders. Commander success points are points EVERYONE ON THE TEAM gets, further incentive to squad up and follow orders.

No.

I can see abusive commanders randomly removing squads.

Overall no, but the basics are there. In my opinion it would be better for the squad members to be able to kick the squad leader requiring a uninamous vote, this option should be available if there are more than 2 squad members other than the leader.
Finally one thing I dislike: Squadleaders that play as sniper.
