Thx DjBrown, very useful... I've just begun to fly (when I can have a plane :S) and I've learned with your trick.
Is it the same way with different planes ? With J10, It's great but with F18 or F35B, it's more inaccurate. I have to target with the bottom of HUD...
(I always put 100% throttle and try to have the same angle of attack)

you're my hero
I just use it to aim the gun and identify targets. I have a decent bombing sense, based on my altitude and speed, and dive-bomb a lot anyway.
