I wondered if you could reccomend me a movie making program. Windows Movie Maker is totally fucked for me, dosn't work at all.

Thanks in advance.

Sony Vegas is probably the best movie making program for the money

Vegas is probably the most popular due to the ease of jumping right in to the program. I prefer Adobe Premiere Pro CS3.

Pinnacle has another good program.. depending on how serious you want to get.

Hmm, I'm just looking for something quick and easy to use really. Thanks for the input though.

Rgr that. Vegas it is then. The others offer more but there is a learning curve involved.

i have used Adobe Premiere elements and its very good.  I have seen vegas and it looks good as well but i have not really used it.  in the past, i have used pinnacle and the software (version 8) used to crash left and right.  now it might be better.  i suggest overall that you look into adobe and this is only because there are a million and one books on adobe products at the bookstore whereas i can only find 1-2 on sony vegas unfortunately.

adobe premiere supports nonlinear editing so you can arrange your clips, allows for adding animations based on keyframes (so you can trigger on actions in the video to have a title or some other aspect like lighting change).  there's also dvd authoring and sound, etc.  tons of features.  probably vegas and pinnacle have these as well.  i guess i just like adobe a bit more
