I'm gonna pick one up thursday. I was originally planning on getting the iPhone, but Blu-Ray is pretty sex tbh and I just got a 32" 1080p TV, so...yeah. Should be fun.

What games are the best? Give me like 3 suggestions, atleast. And not MGS. I have no interest in it, sorry.

Also, does the PS3 come with the HDMI cable? Do I need anything extra?

Wasn't expecting that.

But anyway. As I say in almost every thread I post in, R&C: TOD is mounds of fun. GT5P as it is a wonderful racer (I'm personally waiting for full release). Don't forget to check out the PSN store, they've got a lot of good, inexpensive games that are damn good in their own right (all for less than $10).

Does not come with an HDMI cable, and when you get one, order it online for cheap, there is no reason to spend $50 on this cable when a $10-$20 cable will work just as fine. It matters with analogue cables, but not with digital ones.

Uncharted is a must. I am not sure if you it's worth buying though, maybe a rent. I mean, it's a Single Player experience, but excellent one.

Ratchet & Clank is good as well.

Resistance for its Multiplayer.

And you need HDMI cable.

first off

1) i already had GTA IV pre-ordered for the 360, and even if I didn't I'd STILL get it for the 360 because of the DLC

2) i never, ever said I'd be just going to the PS3. I'm keeping my 360 just as long as I keep my PS3. Both will serve me well

3) I'm actually buying the PS3 mainly for the Blu-Ray as I said. What's the point of getting a 400 dollar blu-ray player when I can get another one with gaming and internet capabilities?

wait till metal gear solid comes out, it costs the same amount with the mgs game and you get a dualshock controller etc for the same price, it is only like a month till release and you would save a lot of money and get a sweet game.

if i was you i would wait just to save the money, the ps3 is awesome but no need to waste money on getting a ps3 without dualshock and mgs when it's the same price and when the time till then is so short.

Motherfucking POS Microsoft labels. I can use an HD AV cable, but not an HDMI cable. Yeah, thanks for the heads up, dickheads! Hopefully I can return the cable (Most likely will be able to anyways), but the fact that it says in VERY SMALL TEXT not compatible with pre-2007 Xbox 360's...or something like that just pisses me off.

Another reason why I'm getting a PS3.
