I call hax! At first the reflections looked to dark to be an outside shot.
His left eye definitely looks like an outstretched arm with a hand holding a rod or pole.
His right eye is the same. The angle of your viewpoint and the concavity of the lens are distorting reflecting. So get your minds out of the gutter.
