I don't understand why people want themes for Vista when they could just install Vista and be done with it. I don't want to hear that Vista is more of a resource hog when adding all the extra crap will do the samething.(Not just the start menu theme.)

Only upside to Vista is DX10. Lots of people don't have the money for a DX10 card, so they won't have the money for Vista Premium. If you just want the look of Vista, just get a theme pack. You get all the new visuals of Vista, but no DX10.Naturn wrote:

I can personaly say that Vista runs much better on SP1 than it did before which. And to be honest do you really think hes gona pay for the theme and the software to run it? He might as well try Vista w/ sp1 its not that bad anymore especially when you can turn all the resource stuff off.

- There are no Vista drivers for the Mobility Radeon 9200.
- There are no Vista drivers for SoundMAX Digital-sound cards
- There are no Vista drivers for my networks card, keyboard, volume control, PCMCIA bay, HDD controller, chipset.
- I have 512MB RAM.
- I have a Pentium M 1.6GHz.
- I want to play BF2.
- I want to be able to boot in a minute.
- I want to have something that looks a bit official, but is not the default XP theme.
- It uses under 100MB HD space.
- It uses no additional resources over the plain XP theme.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity.
