Lately IE7 has been crashing, not loading sites properly and just generally pissing me off, Ive never had a problem in the past, so whenever someone has started talking about different Browsers EG. Fire fox, I've just tuned out.

But now I'm thinking its a good idea to upgrade, but have no idea which one is better, or where to find it, So, Does anyone have any recommendations? Please explain why, and Please have Download links

Any help appreciated

It has better pop up blocking than IE7. If you download Adblock Plus...you'll be able to browse your favorite website without those annoying "win a free iPod" among other ads.

K, Firefox is DLd and installed, only problem is the text looks messy and pixel-ated (lol thats not a word), is this just Firefox, or can i change it?

Sounds like ClearType.

IE7 has the ability to render it regardless of if your system is using it, Firefox (and everything else, tbh) doesn't.

Display Properties > Appearance > Effects > ClearType

You'll notice all your system fonts will look smexy, including that very jaggy "Start" and "Welcome".

And pixelated is a word despite what the FF dictionary tells you. Speaking of which, get the Australian one so it doesn't "correct" you.
