Oh shit.

I have the video of it, but I'm not posting it here for obvious reasons. If you REEEEALLY want to see it (gay) then PM me, if you must.
Rockstar is just proving the sexual preferences of Xbox 360 fanboys.

(Not casual players, fanboys. )
You're probably the 8,887th person on a gaming forum to make that comment. Seriously. Every where I go (GameTrailers, Kotaku, Joystiq) there's people making jokes about it saying that exact thing. So, neener.

So are there any plans for Lost and the Damned on PC or PS3?

Possibly on the PC at a later date, but there's no way it gets on the PS3. MS paid $50 mil for this...and honestly, I think they're gonna make a profit. People are raving about it everywhere I go. I am as well. It's awesome. Well worth the $20.

Just played it for about 4 hours straight .

I love the multiplayer mode 'Chopper vs Chopper'.

And the Bikes are so much better than before. Very enjoyable so far

True, but did anybody notice a slight change in the car physics?
they feel much more heavy.

Fixed

The GTA 4 ones handled like crap. I'm very glad they've been altered.

It's like an entirely new game. It is, actually. They just re-use the location.

For $20 it's actually quite a steal. 1.78 gigs of pure sex. There's so much more shit to do, the missions are a lot more varied, and it's just generally awesome.

The only con I have is that the character development isn't as strong as GTA IV, but I don't think Rockstar wanted it to be. Johnny is no Niko.

Read the headlines scrolling on the bottom. Too funny.

Yep, and the new weapons are fucking awesome. The automatic shotgun takes out vehicles with a single magazine most of the time, you can use the sawn off shotgun while on a bike, and the automatic 9mm Pistol is just fucking awesome to fire.

The new multiplayer modes are sick too. Ever play Road Rash? They have bike races like that where you have a bat and can knock other players off their bikes. Pretty sick. I got the "Let Sleeping Rockstars Lie" achievement by doing that.

There's also gang wars to participate in (25 of 'em) where you and a bunch of bikers go to a location and take on a bunch of the Angels of Death (the rival gang of The Lost).

What I found really funny is that they talk about a lot of current events as well. The recession, Obama (though they don't directly mention him, obviously) and a lot of other stuff. It's pretty funny to hear.

There's a good, in-depth review.

I don't agree with them saying GTA4 is starting too look outdated, once you manage to force your system to run it in 1080p, it looks fucking awesome. Especially the rain effects and certain times of the day etc.. not to mention euphoria etc..  it's still up there as one of the best looking games. I wish Rockstar didn't sign that deal with MS but oh well that's life

I have to admit that I'm jealous of this DLC's exclusivity. But then again, Sony has had a similar monopoly on games like Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories... In the end it all comes down to business. $$$ and €€€ are more important than not spiting a certain target group.

I wonder what kind of storyline the next DLC will have.

When you're on a bike going up behind any car, unloading your 2 sawn off shotgun shells into the back of it will set it on fire right away .

Something to keep in mind is just how much MS paid for this. $50 million would have funded the entire DLC production and then some. Rockstar may have not even bothered making the episodes if it wasn't for MS's deal.

It may have been a (expensive) cheap shot for exclusivity, but it may also have been the reason the DLC exists .

$50 Million? Sheeeeeeeeeeeit.

That's more than half the cost to make the full GTA4, including engine development. And most games usually only cost 5-20 million to make.

The rumor is that when you're playing the mission "Museum Piece", the spanish guy who shoots the diamond dealer (I think his name is Luis)...yeah, you play him. The Achievement/Trophy for that mission is called "Impossible Trinity" as it's Johnny, Niko and...Luis.

Yeah, but you have to wonder how many people they swayed to get the 360 version instead of the PS3 version by announcing DLC would only be on the 360.

Not much outside the in-the-know gamer guys, like you, there aren't alot of people like you that a) had both consoles and b) bought GTA on the 360 just cos of the DLC. Microsoft barely made a big deal about it when GTA was being advertised in the run up to release, if I didn't read on the internets about it, I wouldn't have known at all. Still, a shit load of people bought it on the 360 regardless, and if they can advertise it enough right now then I'm sure alot of people will get this addon. Not sure about getting profit from the 50 million contract though.

Depends on what TV you have and what res. I have a 20" Samsung HDTV, and the game looked much better on my 15" 4:3 SDTV, then I realised that it kept on running it at 720p on my HDTV, so I flicked off the 720p option on my PS3 and that forced the PS3 to run the game at 1080p (only works in some games, most games just revert to 576p if you don't allow it to run in 720p - also need a TV that can run 1080p) and basically, it looked MUCH better when I forced it to 1080p. I know the game is still being rendered at low res, but the combination of the PS3 and the TV upscaling it, gave it a much better picture (that and having 1080p on a small TV makes things even sharper, pixel density and all that)

So yeah.....the graphics are quite good once you've done all that. Also the rain just makes the game look too awesome

I just think they look like GTA:SA with slight texture changes and they're a bit more realistic.. nothing special though. Everyone was banging on about how amazing the graphics were, and when I saw it, I just thought... well, CoD4 did a much better job, and it runs on a much easier engine..and it was released a full year before GTA was.

EDIT: and by realistic I mean they don't have square hands.
