That looks fucking EPICC
I was really disappointed that the Rhino wasn't in GTA4. Hopefully that will shoot 20 mike-mikes and not water like the San Andreas APC did.Spidery_Yoda wrote:

OK, I finally bought this because it's now less than $30, but I have a problem...
I was at about 50% in the game, and I bought a new 1.5 TB HD. Since this game is 15 GB, I figured it would be worthwhile to move it to my new, faster HD. So I uninstalled it, ran registry cleaner, and re-installed it on the new HD. That same day, I finally OC'd my Q6600 for the first time. It's running at 3.0 ghz, runs fine in Orthos for over half an hour of CPU testing, temps. are staying in the 50s, and I've played hours of BF2 with no crashes or excessive heat. In fact, I haven't had a single lock-up, BSoD, etc. in several days since doing these things.
But(!), my GTA 4 crashes after anywhere from 30 sec. to 3 minutes of playing. I get the sort of error that asks if I want to send an error report to Microsoft. After making sure I had the newest nVIDIA drivers, shutting down all anti-virus software, etc., I still had the same error. So I reinstalled the game, repeated the above, and still the same errors. So then I set my processor back to stock speeds, and repeated the above process (re-install and everything), and even still I get the same errors right after I start playing.
I REALLY wanted to beat this game, but I can't think of any additional things to try to get it to work. The game runs great on my PC on high settings, and I haven't had a single issue with it prior to this.
Has anyone else encountered problems like this after a reinstall? Is this game really just that buggy?

^Are you running the latest drivers for all your components? Do you have the latest patch installed, too? XP/Vista/7?
TBOGT is only a little over 3 weeks away...can't wait!
Are the graphics really really bad on the 360 compared to computer or is there something wrong with my brothers xbox?
Partly has to do with how good the PC you're playing it on, but generally a decent PC these days can play GTA:IV at a higher detail setting then the consoles play it at.DrunkFace wrote:

That's one thing missing from GTA IV that would've made it even more atmospherically awesome.Ioan92 wrote:

Luckily, Mafia II will have it.
The game was supposed to take place in October though, not much snow in October in NYC.

Also, how is Ballad of Gay Tony? I'm poor at the moment and so haven't played it.

Rockstar Games' downloadable episodes for Grand Theft Auto IV look to be making the platform jump from Xbox 360 to Games For Windows Live, giving PC gamers a chance to experience The Lost And Damned.
Grand Theft Auto fan site GTA4.net spotted the five Games For Windows Live Achievements specific to Rockstars' first downloadable episode, hinting that the Xbox 360-exclusivity surrounding the episode is due to expire.
Those Achievements made an appearance following the most recent title update to the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV, issued by Rockstar today.
The short answer to the headline is likely "Yes," but we've reached to the developer seeking an official response.

^Nice. Wonder if both will eventually make it.
Ugh, NOW they finally release the ability to double-bind controls and disabling the mouse controls when flying?
Poor show, Rockstar. Release this shit when you release the game.

Can't run it. Game keeps freezing or locking up with sound looping/black screening in less than two minutes in.
e6400
HD 4850 256MB
sufficient hard drive
4GB RAM
I don't get it.

256mbs of video ram might be the culprit. This games eats up memory like no other.some_random_panda wrote:
