who here actually votes?
It is my civic duty to vote. How could I bitch and moan about politicians if I didn't vote?
I'll be voting whenever we have an election. It'll be my first time since all the other elections I was too young. I'll probably be voting Conservative, seeing as Labour have been in power for too long. I don't like Labours Socialist policy and they have no common sense and are not in touch at all with the actual people, they've been in power too long and they're taking it for granted.
Brown should've called for an election when Tony Blair resigned, but he didn't. Fucking douche bag.

I reckon not being old enough to vote you can still bitch about previous elections cos there's nothing you can do if you're not old enough. If you're old enough and you still don't vote, then you can't really say shitGunSlinger OIF II wrote:

And if you're not old enough and still won't be for some time, then it's still good to get into politics early. Most kids don't give a shit

State and national.
Feeling a little pointless lately, but if you don't vote you shouldn't bitch about things.

They chat shit about people of Anglo-Saxon heritage (even though Anglo-Saxons aren't the natives), they chat shit like Britain isn't a Multicultural place. It always has been, it's just fuckers like them don't realise. They have some good policies, but their outright racism just fucks them over.
edit: When I mean Conservative, I mean the Conservative Party (that's their name)
They're not really right wing, more central/common sense

I vote.
If you don't then you can't moan about anything to do with the state of your country.

Just for delegates in the for the Democratic Party. I almost got to be a delegate at the convention from the Ukraine chapter, but I missed the sign up by a few weeks.
General election, probably not this time unfortunately. In Kansas, overseas votes are only opened up and counted in the event of a tie.

how many delegates are up for grab in ukraine? your talking about that "demos from abroad" deal they have, right?
I vote. Local, State, and Nat'l.
I do
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
not really, if you have the choice between 2 a-holes, are you still gonna vote? It happened to me already lmao.JahManRed wrote:

It'll be my first time to vote when the presidential election comes. I didn't register until I was 19. Kind of late of me to do that.

Well it's illegal not to vote in Australia.
I'd vote ron paul if he had a chance in hell of winning, he makes the most sence to me, the others seem to be blowing smoke up our butts.
I'll probablly end up voting mcCain though as he's the least of the evils. It's sad because we don't get what the country needs, we get whomever spent the most money & lied the best.
Hillary= crook
Oboma = who?
McCain = good ole' boy
Ron Paul = The guy with good ideas & a ross dress for less suit.
I think it's time we followed the constitution & rise up & take the power back so we can reform government.

im 18 and i voted in the primary, and im gonna vote in november also.
6 delegates for the region, with 3 votes. It covers a lot of countries though (Europe/Africa/Middle East). So far, Obama by about 65%. Ukraine expats get to send a delegate though, they won that fight this year, not sure which other 5 get it. Total "Democrats Abroad" comes to about 11 votes in the convention, 7 for Osama and 4 for Hitlery so far unless the 11 April vote changes the prelimaries.GunSlinger OIF II wrote:

Not worth the hassle to cast an uncounted vote in the main election though for us expats.
Here's the blurb for the curious...
DEMOCRATS ABROAD is allocated 11 delegate votes at the Democratic National Convention but will be sending 22 persons who will be acknowledged as "delegates" on the floor of the Convention. Each of the 22 delegates has ½ vote on the Convention Floor.
