Simple. I searched; found nothing. Another thread mentioned how it's wrong to NOT vote.

I am not asking WHO you are voting for.

So... When the day comes, are you gonna vote?

This is mainly for the 2008 U.S. Presidential Elections, but I tried to make it open as a question on political voting in general, so all BF2s users can throw in a say.

As for me, I don't vote. * tightens grip on Flameshield* I am not a conspiracy nut, but I do believe that the voting system is horribly corrupt, and several isntances point to voting fraud, which leads to me to believe that the system just doesn't work, and in some key areas, it has been tampered with to a certain extent.

Plus, until we get some politicians that aren't like used car salesman, the candidates are all the same to me anyway.

Another reason I dont vote is, I always just have to wonder, (maybe we should have this thought in another thread) what ever happened to those president's that were icons, truelly great people.. Maybe Someday I guess.

Absolutely.
I'd most likely vote for Obama... unless Clinton gets the Democratic nod, in which case I will vote for her. McCain isn't the worst candidate the GOP could provide... so if he ends up winning, then I won't be that upset. Although depending on McCain's choice of VP, I may be more upset.

ditto. Over here the people can take a direct influence on the politics of the country way more than anywhere else. We have to possibility of forcing a public vote about a law/introduction of a new one if we get enough signatures (which is never a problem). Thus we vote on passing/modifying several laws every month. The government can't pass a law against the will of the people but the people can force a law against the will of the government. We do take voting very seriously here

I voted not sure. It depends on who's running. If it comes down to Hillary vs. McCain, I'll either not vote or just write in Lou Dobbs.

I think that if you dont vote you should keep your mouth shut if that president/other official turns out to be bad.

there are 14 "no" votes to a poll that asks if you vote. 14 people voted "no" saying that they do not vote. 14 people just lied and voted.
