I saw the closed thread and according to Morgan, EA no gives out SGT major..  So then.. What is this guy doing with the award.  I'm guessing he got the award and has since been reset?

yea i played on a server with one of them like a month ago. mind you it was a server with bots on (co-op) mode

Look at his time and his last played time ;) At 420 hours he would of easily had reached 50000 and then go on to get this rank (requirements unknown?). He would of had this rank until he reached 2nd Lieutenant at 60k, but he has obviously been reset. His rank remains but his points do not, and so - even if he was to play now, he'd be a SMOTC until he reaches 60k.
