Have to admit you see MUCH less of the diving/theatrics and shit in the lower leagues
I agree Mek.
Another thing I notice is the Prem is it's a bit slower and a bit less hussle and bustle giving players more time to pick a pass.
Football needs to take a lesson from Egg Chasing. Wales had two players sin binned on Sat and on neither occasion was the ref surrounded. They need to start moving the ball up 10 yeards everytime a player moans at a decision in football aswell.

Yes, yes it will. It's not just one team... it's all of the teams in every single league below the Premiership - always has been, always will be.kptk92 wrote:
Jesus Christ... will the Championship still play real football when the Baggies get promoted this year?
I concur - oh, and there's less hassling of referees.Mek-Izzle wrote:

It's no wonder they're always bagging all of the talent from the Championship and lower leagues... they know we're too good for them! And yes, the way the system is stacked up against referees is appalling... sadly, most televised games are from the Premiership where this is most common and so kids grow up thinking it's alright to be so boisterous and mean towards referees (a person in power) and this not only leaks down to the lower leagues but also teaches children that it's alright to behave like that in any situation against people you should respect... it's a disgrace.1927 wrote:

I have bumped this back up the board for the following:
Platini has said today if we did win the cup and thus qualify for Europe and the English FA said "No, I don't think so, your a Welsh side" then UEFA would step in and over rule them.
Our court case started today regarding the £24m approx owed to Langstone Plc and no verdict from the judge yet, maybe tomorrow if not then possibly weeks, who knows. The original date for all of this was Oct/Nov last year I think, obviously the longer this rumbles on the less likely banks and other investors are willing to deal with us.
Our Semi final is on the Sunday about 4pm I think. Me and the Mrs going hopefully (1 ticket per season ticket, I have x2) tickets go from £25 upwards.
Going to watch us play Hull tonight in a game we are bound to loose as we have never been consistant in the last 16 years I have been watching us.

Do Cardiff play at the Millennium stadium?
that would be a shitty deal if they won and weren't allowed, if you win the FA cup, you deserve the place1927 wrote:

No, we wouldn't fill the bottom tier. Currently Ninnian Park but new 30k seater across the road being built regardless of court case, next season will be our last in NP.Mek-Izzle wrote:

Going to be dead funny tonight vs Hull. Ticket policy for Semi's is "Season Ticket + Ambassadors" get first crack, "People re-newing season tickets for next season" get next crack "If you bought a ticket for Hull match" get next crack if any are left.
So tonight we'll be singing "Where were you when we were shite" "Who the fkn hell are you" and "Stand up if its your first time here"
We average under 13k usually, probably be 15-16k tonight. This just reminds me of when we had QPR in the play off's, sold all our 35k and then had 5k of theirs too and still sold that. Where have all those fans gone now?

Also I suppose this country's first sport is Egg Chasing, football isn't our national game.Tehremos wrote:

We have also had to watch our best players be sold from underneath us since that game vs QPR, but we are a Championship club and most of us have to do that just to survive, the bad bit was Sam Hamman promised us that we never would.
Go on Cardiff ...I'd love a club from a Celtic nation to take the FA cup!

Some Pictures to share: (please forgive me for poor quality but I used my camera phone as Mrs 27 gets a bit twitchy if I pull out the digital)
A week today and I'll be there.
My seat is Middle tier, half way line. £35, Return coach is a further £30.
My Shirt, My Ticket

My Ticket

Lil 27 in the Dug Out (been working there all day and she needed a rest)

Medium 27 (Nephew, just finished putting crests up in home dressing room)

Tunnel Crest (Sometimes the players give it a slap on the way out, the blue doors lead out to the pitch, where te ray of light is)

You need to revert to the original post as to why I took photo's in these areas.

The time is upon us again.
Fa Cup Semi Final weekend both games from Wembely.
Ive been counting down this since beating Boro in the last round, sorry, been counting this down all my life should I say.
West Brom V Portsmouth first up, coverage on the BBC from 12.00 midday, 12.15pm KO.
I'd prefer to play West Brom as they havent beaten us this season and Portsmouth are fav's for that match. Good luck to both teams but more good luck to The Baggies.
This really is like Christmas Eve to me, m never up at 8am on a Saturday but was today my coach leaves at 10.00am tomorrow from Cardiff to Wembley so another early start tomorrow for me and a late arrival home probably into Monday morning but all worth it.
You know what its like on Christmas Eve hoping you have been good and you get the gift you want the next day, well thats me, I really do want that shiney bike because I have been a good boy all year round. went to a lot of effort this week in tracing some fella's wallet I had found at the ground on Tuesdays night game so if Karma exists in football I hope it's got us into the final which I dont belive we will win.

Pompey v Barnsley/Cardiff final, I can't decide the final tie
I wish your team good luck 27, coincidentally the same year my Grandad was born, god bless his soul.
The FA Cup without the big three is an exciting proposition.
Would like to see it go not to Portsmouth (not for any other reason than that a lower tier team winning it is just much for exciting, dig?)

Not the best of games so far but it could of been this way regardless of who's playing. West Brom look the better team in posession but Portsmouth look solid at the back, which they are. Its a huge pitch so things will open up 2nd half and legs will tire.
It wont stay like this all game and if it does, I promise ours wont be tomorrow.

David James always makes me lol

Gutted for you Baggies ecspecially Raven, just wern't good enough on the day and that little bit of luck needed wasn't with you.
Once again Pomp playing shit but going through, surely they won't do a hatrick of playing shit and still winning, thus winning the actual trophy.
Hey Mr 27 and fam, hope you have a really great day out, just being at wembly is an amazing feeling and singing and shouting for your club no matter what the score (even better when your team wins TBH) i am a member of CFC so my heart would like barns to actually win that game, then that would ease some of the piss taking get at work, but in my head i really think that you will be to strong, you say that Cardiff are a small team, i tend to disagree somewhat, excluding money, Cardiff is well known in the UK due to the big transfers they have had in the past and just its location, again i wish your team luck, but no matter what i am sure you guys will have a very memorable day
