NOOB - The forbidden word?

The other day I was auto kicked from a server for saying "noob".

I remember the other day, there were discussions about a new word. I think it was "tool" or "boon" or something.

But what about "boob" as in newborns(noobs) suck the " boob" and therefore, someone who is new and noobish should be referred to as "boob"

What do you guys think?

I think that playground name calling is best left on the playground. It doesn't matter is the messages are aimed at you, they are a distraction. I've left numerous servers not because I was being insulted directly, but because of the constant childish spam. It detracts from the game for me, and I suspect, the majority of folks.

I don't think one should get kicked/banned for something like 'lag' unless the messenger is being obnoxious about it. Noob, N00b, boob, jew, fag, ghey and whatever other misspelled words are cool this season......those are just childish insults. Grow the fuck up, or GTFO.

Funny...the new "N" word... "That's our word and you have no right to use it!" Okay, I had to say it.

Anyway, some admins kick people for simply having a bad attitude. There are a few severs I play on that have this rule, and I don't have a problem with it. You're there to play. Not to talk shit. Let your gaming do the talking.

Additional behavior that most people find "kickworthy":

- racist language
- foul language
- spamming chat
- repeatedly screaming like a bitch into the mic
- Not following server rules (Two examples: 1. Attack cap not okay. You attack uncap. Boot. 2. Attack cap okay. You bitch. Boot.)
- Trying to vote kick clan members while playing on their sever (duhh...)

Most of these rules apply to other games as well. Even if these rules are not stated, if you play by them, you will most likely never get kicked unless you're on a server run by a 12-year old Nazi. This will happened to you eventually.
