this wasn't a situation where they were sneaking around and a barking dog would've warned someone that they were there
this was a little fucking puppy IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DESERT

Soldiers kill people who are trying to kill them. What the fuck is a dog going to do? Lick his hand? This is why animal cruelty really rubs me wrong. A human who mindlessly hurts harmless creatures is obviously fucked in the head.IG-Calibre wrote:

As I said, BIG difference between shooting a guy who is shooting at you, versus hurting a puppy that wouldn't do shit
killing people as soldier: ok, no prob with that, but you are tending to be a psychopath if you loose from respect from innocent life.
maybe in your rose tinted world mate, but let me shatter your illusion for you, British soldiers shot dead children playing in their gardens here, and laughed at the children's parents and joked at them about murdering them. They probably got medals pinned on their chests by the queen for their heroic deeds. That's the reality of the world..HurricaИe wrote:

Throwing a puppy off a hill for fun doesn't seem like something a soldier should do, and that's not 'killing a dog' that's just animal cruelty. I would kick the ass in his balls if I were to stand next to him.IG-Calibre wrote:

I call bullshit tbh, well I'm not british but any dutch soldier that shoots someone for amusement, or an unarmed person who's clearly not trying to harm him is going to get his ass dragged to court by his superiors, no exceptions made.IG-Calibre wrote:

In the South Armagh region of N.Ireland hundreds of people gathered for a memorial Mass last night for 12-year-old Majella O'Hare - the youngster who was shot in the back by a soldier of the British Army on 14th August 1976. The 30th anniversary was an emotional moment for her mother 83-year-old Mary O'Hare, who is still searching for the truth about why her daughter was killed as she walked past an Army patrol. Majella, from Whitecross, was on her way with other children to confession at a nearby church when she was hit in the back by a bullet fired by a paratrooper. Majella’s mother Mary said she still wants to come face-to-face with the soldier who fired the fatal shot to ask:, Why ?
Majella’s father James, who worked close by, ran up the road only to find his daughter lying on the ground, blood pouring from her left side. He cradled her in his arms until a nurse arrived. A British army helicopter airlifted Majella, her father and the nurse to Newry's Daisy Hill hospital. On the way, Majella lifted her hand up to her father's chest and said faintly, 'Daddy, Daddy'. Within seconds, she was dead. James never got over it - he never saw a happy day after it. He was a broken man from that day on and he lived for 16 years after it.
A 24-year-old British paratrooper was charged with manslaughter. However, as usual, he was acquitted when a judge accepted his claim to have shouted a warning before firing at a gunman he spotted in a hedge. No gunman was found at or near the scene. At first paratroopers claimed Majella was killed in crossfire, but local people insisted only one shot was fired, that no warning was issued and no other witnesses saw a gunman.
At the trial, Mary came face-to-face with the man she believes shot her daughter. She asked if he was proud of killing Majella. Mary said, “He just shrugged his shoulders and said nothing. I would love to talk to him again now. I would just like to know why. He has nothing to fear from me - the truth is all I seek. Hopefully the truth will bring closure for my family. It's still hard to come to terms with what happened, even after 30 years In the 30 years” British authorities have never apologised for the death of the 12-year-old. The Army has never spoken directly to the family. Attempts to uncover the truth, including meetings with NIO officials and the former Northern Ireland Secretary of State, John Reid, have produced nothing. The truth would help ease the pain. It will never bring Majella back, but the truth would be a comfort after 30 years.
Last night, several hundred people packed St Malachy's church close to the O'Hare family home near Whitecross for a memorial Mass. Afterwards, family and friends placed floral tributes at the memorial stone which marks the spot where young Majella fell.
So it's completely ok to throw a puppy to its death for fun because some british soldiers have killed children?
Do you honestly think that Calibre?

This is fucking ridiculous. What the fuck would the dog do to them? Obviously not give their position away as they were just talking on a hillside. Good thing I had my dog beside me when I watched that. The soldier needs to burn in fucking hell.

Second; so killing a puppy for no reason but amusement is totally acceptable because soldiers kill people. That's exactly what you're saying.

Off topic mate, this thread is about a pathetic soldier killing a defenceless puppy. If you want to turn this thread into an anti-British soldier/hatred thread then I'd suggest you make a separate thread. Stick to the topic/video link, otherwise GTFO.IG-Calibre wrote:

Look, I'm a soon-to-be soldier. The way you're explaining stuff makes soldiers look as emotionless blood thirsty people which they are definately not. Ofcourse a soldier cares about killing people, I don't know one soldier who I've met who's been in Afghanistan that didn't.IG-Calibre wrote:

But the worst of all, is killing defenseless people, or animals for amusement. Soldiers kill in order to defend themselves, or others - not for amusement. You're twisted if you start killing stuff just because you can, everything you do involving violence should be out of nessecity.

@Calibre, I'm getting the sense that you first-hand experienced a lot of the violence in Ireland?
