Histamine is the stuff that gets released as a reaction to whatever to cause itching - allergic people release shitloads of it when they come in to contact with the wrong stuff, i just make too much histamine naturally and thus have a stronger reaction to anything that can cause itching. one pill a day keeps it down, so I'm fine.
