For fucks sake. Ive stopped using youtube for movies as Stage6 had the availability for high quality, uncompressed movies that you could actually work out what was going on.
Only other option is filefront, but that has a very bad habit of cutting out halfway though.

Tbh, they should have sold to facebook. Not as if they dont have the money or staff.

I can't believe that not one of the big IT companies wanted in on this.......his explanation makes no sense.

A complete site, that a LOT of people use has got to be worth something to Google or Microsoft or somebody like that.

Even if it was for a nominal fee, they would have made a bit of money to help with other projects.

This pisses me off cause I used to watch all the Lost, Prison Break and Heroes along with a load of movies on there.

I no www.gametrailers.com has pretty good quality for vids, i dont no the resolution but its a hell of alot better than youtube or google video. Its a pretty good site aswell. I dont think there is a upload limit either which is cool. Hope this helps.

The TV Links website (Had many Movies, episodes of TV shows, documentaries, cartoons, etc) also got shutdown by lawyers, they didn't even host the videos, they just merely linked to them from other sites. It is a shame when popular sites like this are forced to shut down.
