everyone understands? pretty sure it had to be explained to the americans originally.
Who hasn't heard of the stereotype of the student who parties too much and crams all their studying into the last week? or the student who goes on to do a masters or another degree because they don't quite know what to do after their bachelors.
Ok, I may have missed out to an extent by not going to uni, but I also got to go to America for 5months to fly myself around in beautiful temperatures while the rest of the british populace was freezing their ass off in the snow we got last year. I got to tour around Arizona on the ground and in the air with a whole 5 courses of like minded people. Then I came home and flew around the UK learning to fly from one end of the country to the other without seeing jack shit.
And that was the 'studying' part of my life, where next month I'll be managing a 60t plane around europe, where i'll get to be based in 47 different locations if I want.
Sure, Uni would have been nice, but it would have been a waste of time and money in the long run. In no way am I jealous or sore.
