I'm not going to say this as an excuse since both teams did play very well, but notice how the lone goal scored on a goalie was scored on Thomas when he had to wear Fernandez's mask. It was a pretty weak goal from a bad angle too. Interesting to see what a difference a goalie mask could make.

They should probably invest in a backup mask.

Or maybe it's just that everything related to Manny sucks...

Dunno if it was really the Bruins so much. Ever since the trades the Islanders have been nothing short of fucking beastly. Okposo, Bailey and Streit have been absolute machines.

If we can keep the hustle that we've got going now and carry it over into next season with Tavares/a FA (Havlat?), I'd say we have a good chance at being a very strong team.

Yann Danis as well is fucking awesome. Biggest surprise all season.

You know I used to have a lot of respect for New Jersey but after how badly they treated Scott Clemenson after being the sole reason they are in their current position just makes me hate them. I can't believe they'd embarass their teams, fans, and Scott Clemenson by keeping Kevin Weekes as backup...
