I wouldnt have bought 2142 if it had lasers. it would have sucked ass. I almost didnt buy it because I thought it would. and as far as more servers. the delivery and execution of the game is horrible even though the titan mode was a new twist to the game. 2142 should have laser weapons since its sooo in the FUTURE, but dice decided to stick their heads up their ass to stop listening. they said that they did not want to turn 2142 into star wars. i had several people say to me that the hitreg might as be as bad as sniping with a homemade slingshot.
i talked to people personally online and on xboxlive where i play COD4. 80-89% of people told me that 2142 is nothing more than a MOD of BF2.
i know you guys want to bash me right now, even you Longbow. but if you just calm down and look how many more Bf2 servers out there compared to Bf2142, you would understand why.
the big problem with 2142 in my opinion is that people slammed it without really playing and alot of people didnt give it a chance because of those people that did slam it. yes I know there are people who tried it and still thought it sucked. so did I for the first few hours I played. I dont care if someone likes it or not, I have a blast with it. but why must they always come into threads with people that LIKE it and spew a bunch of shit no one that likes it wants to hear. go play the game you like so much better >P
