Simply put, I know the games are multi region, but I cant find a specific answer as to there online capability.  As in, if I get a japanes copy of Gran Turisimo 5 Prologue, will I be able to play it online here in the UK? 

Or to put it another way, if I had an American copy (I know it isnt out yet there, but I dont fancy translating japanese lol!), would I be able to play it online with my buddies when they get there UK copy?

I asked the same question 3 days ago @ yodabashi in Japan, the guy said it was properly not going to work.
I did not buy the game, witch is a shame its 20 euro cheaper then it will be in Europe.
I came home with the Sony dual shock controller, was a sale for 31 euro.
