I purchased Command and conquer 3 a couple weeks ago, played the first 4 stages, thought it was shit, and put it on ebay. I really don't know why it got such a high rating. Video clips = woopdee doo. Looked horrible? It looks far FAR better than any other RTS currently on the market...
You are not zoomed in all of the time, try playing Universe at War: Earth assault, THAT is zoomed in

They made the best game ever when they thought of Zero Hour, and then when I heard that they were making a new CnC, I thought it would be the best game eva. But instead they realeased the shittest game ever. Why did they move away from the ZH type game play?

BFME II - Lord of the Rings game which suprisingly is really good. You can build some pretty cool wall/castle defences in it too.
Starcraft - Great fun if you can take the graphics. More of a LAN game though.
