I didn't. I clearly wrote pay your respects....the point i am making there shouldn't be expectation that everyone has to pay their respects, (given the insults that have been bounded around) but yet still understand that a promising young actor has departed early through unfortunate circumstances. Yes Heath Ledger was an actor who was comfortable who never did anything truely significant for anyone else and probably shouldn't be as "news worthy" as Hugh Thompson or Jefferson DeBlanc or Sir Edmund Hillary but he is. His passing was unexpected and no doubt incredibly tragic for those who knew him. In light of this who the fuck are you to decide that he doesn't deserve a few insignificant words of condolances or a few "R.I.P"s from a bunch of people like us?
And i find it a ironic and frustrating those that have made a difference to mankind are forgotten and ignored.

I just really don't think he meant to do it.
From what I've read, his role as Joker really impacted his life. He said that he "had trouble sleeping while portraying the Joker, whom he called a "psychopathic, mass-murdering, schizophrenic clown with zero empathy."
