Anyone else get an extremly long connect to account server time this morning, followed by a "database error" and the refusal to connect your account? Thanks EA, I appreciate you screwing over the time that i set aside to play my beloved game.

I wouldn't care is much except that I have to login to play single player. Geez, at least in BFV I could still play without the servers being up. Other than that BF2 is cool.

i just tried 3 times to log in to bf2 and it said "database error". i mean what is this shit. good job ea you just screwed up even more than before. anyway any one have any ideas what this could be about.... if u do plz post it.
Got a new rank this morning (finally) and was about to chose my new unlock and the "gamespy error" pops up.

It's like EA is trying to give us reasons to buy games from Ubisoft and Activision. I'm pretty sure they have my email address. I get about 10 emails a week from them. Would it be so hard for them to send out a mass email letting us know that the server is down for maintenance? Don't they have a back up system? Am I just totally naive?
Read the message carefully, this time it isnt EA's fault, but GameSpy's. Last time it was the PB Auth that is run by EA, so you never really got an error. GameSpy cant hide for long with their name in the middle of the error!
