Yes Pomegranate is supposed to be a little bitter.
Personally I love it, and Cranberry Juice because they've got that nice edge to them.
What annoys me about the food industry is they assume "sweet is better", I hate sweet things and they insist on putting sugar and crap in everything to make it sweeter, I'd prefer everything if it wasn't sweetened at all.

No Pom juice should be tart not bitter. It's more of sweet tarty flavor. Very expensive as one whole pom yields very little juice. Very good for your body.
