for info.. the Brit SAS isnt saying "skylight".. he is saying "starlight" .. which from memory is the radio code word for medical..

for example

sunshine - the boss (because the sun shines out his ass)
sunshine minor - the 2ic (because slightly less sunshine comes out his ass)
starlight - medics

thats all i can remember at the mo..

Well, they had to do the same things I am sure for everyone else... I mean, for the USMC they don't have the classic New York accent or the Country Hick accent. I am sure it goes for each of the other armies as well... Get over it.

"Crikey, 'mate! That headshot was a 'beaut, wuddn't she?"

But seriously, it's a game, stop complaining about accents. You don't see the U.S.M.C. with southern Louisiana accents, and I'm SURE they don't just come from one part of the U.S. I'm sure it's like this for pretty much every team out there, even if you don't understand what they're saying.

most special forces (SAS, SEAL) use throat mics. throat mics pick up vibrations from the skin around the vocal chord and not the sound that comes out of your mouth. .
No they dont? Ive never used one. We only use boom mics.

Troat mics are unreliable because sometimes they activate by the sound of you breathin hard (f.x when running)

Some units MAY use this system, but sont say they all do (Well yes on movies they do because it looks fancy)

Just my 2 Cents

EA was also rascist too when they made this.  All the classes where they use a black guy wear body armor, and all the white people don't wear body armor.

EA's theory is that white people are smarter hence more likely to survive longer. Therefore they don't need pansy body armour

I know, I noticed that. The MEC sound evil, The Chinese sound rigid, the US sound like whiney teenagers and British sound posh.

im a brit, and i find some of the british voices on bf2 funny, like, 'Go Go Go', always makes me laugh. but the woman voice its too posh. ive never met a woman here with a posh voice anywhere near like that. its gotta change.

Hey at least they added one realistic feature 'Friendly Fire' I wouldn't have beleived it was the US until I saw that in the game.

Posh or no I wouldn't want them looking for me.

That posh accent was the last thing a lot of soldiers ever heard

The current voice acting for the SAS is crappy indead. The overall voice acting is weak since the real 'core' uses words that would get you banned on a server.

The 'Friendly arty moving into baseline position' is to bizar for words.
If someone yelled that at me and 'Artillery incoming, get the hell out of there!', then I would run like hell at the second command .

The only 'raw' voices are the USMC. It's like all american game makers want to paint the US Forces as though and undefeatable, and all the others as sissy's.

Well at least they don't all sound like Kenneth Williams and John Inman...

Actually, come to think of it, that would be much better than the 'Aussies trying to be posh' accents that are currently in the game.  You could replace, "Supplies available'" with, "I'm free!"

Hey if it wasnt for the USA's Armyhalf of you wouldnt have been born. GI's dumped a lot of sperm overseas.

Its that 1/2 American blood that makes most Asian/European look so hot.

Count your blessings as I don't think we will ever come back. Tired of it, ya know?

It was probably a bleedin septic that did the damn accent anyway.  Claiming to speak english. Pah! Get your own language or at least learn to speak ours properly!  Manipulating words, spelling and punctuation as you please.

On the issue of a scouse accent, definitley not.  No-one would understand it then.

Spiffing game none the less though.
