Well, "It's ok to be gay" by Tomboy is by far the saddest thing I've ever heard...
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. I know of many but the one that comes to me right now is Israel Kamakawiwo Ole's version of Somewhere over the Rainbow. It is a beautiful song and I particularly have an attachment to it because it has been played at the funeral's of several individuals who were close to me... Not to mention the fact my mom has actually asked for it at her funeral...
