The Band Played Waltzing Matilda is another one.
Scatman
Also the song "GLOOMY SUNDAY". ( i stand corrected thnks KEN) This song was alledgedly written by a gypsy and cursed way back when,
and legend has it that if you listen to it being played properly with a violin you'll commit suicide straight away due to the curse.
I have listened to versions recorded by people so i figure they weren't playing it properly, the curse.......FAIL, OR I'm immortal Muah ha ha ha

And Evanescence - My Immortal.

Johnny Cash - Hurt
He sings it with so much emotion, quite sad really..

Moti Ragnarokum by Burzum
Samuel Barber - Adagio for strings.
older than all the internets combined, and it still wins.

Drugs or Me - Jimmy Eat World I think...
diiferent kind of pain - cold
Malloy must go
"Forever Autumn" from the War of the Worlds musical and a lot of William Shatner songs
But it's too classical,.. I doubt whether I would cll any classical piece "sad",.. it's different it's never downright sad, it has a sense of beauty.Lucien wrote:
