Now when i have a dircecX 10 compatibel gfx card im beginning to figure about it.
I got XP but i read that i need vista to have dx10, is that true?
If now, where do i get dx10?

Yes you need vista to get dx10.

So to get dx10 you need to buy vista.

You can use any card with xp or vista, its just directx 10 is the way forward so vista recomends it. You can only get directx 10 with a card with it on.

DX10 is okay, but don't waste your money on it, half the games coming out don't use it yet

dx10 looks better than dx9, but it requires more from your videocard.

Yes with vista it would use the directx 10 so it would be better.

Whether it would look better on DX10 over DX9 depends largely on the game. Some look better, some have little or no noticeable difference; at least not enough to justify the move to DX10.

Not with COD4, because its only DX9

But with DX10 games it does look better yes.
