Cons: 5 rounds.
You're intending for there to be MORE than five potential muggers?

Accuracy of a firearm with a 2" barrel greatly diminishes as target range increases, especially with a round like the .357mag. So as long as the attacker(s) are in close proximity, have no firearms themselves, and all rounds hit their intended targets, then yes, 5 rounds should prove sufficient. There are many scenarios that I could think of that would make me want to have higher round capacity, but that would make the weapon more bulky and difficult to carry easily.

If it wasn't a burden to carry and a pain to clean, then the 1911 would be my favorite. Eight rounds of .45 ACP stopping power, awesome grip, and it's extremely accurate(full-size) at 25 yards.

and I asked why.  whats wrong with asking somebody why they like something.  whats your problem.  I asked why he has that personal opinion.

my favorite guns that I OWN.

M1 Garand is my all time favortie to shoot.  it's loud powerful and acurate >)  and that oh so sexy PING when the clip ejects.

Beretta .40  it was a state patrol issue so it has glow in the dark sites and an 11 round clip.  (not sure if thats standard)

Walther p22  kick ass .22 for cheap tartget shooting.  tons of extras out for this gun.  I got the laser site. but i rarely use it other then to shoot in low light

Walther g22 rifle.... OMG!!!  best .22 rifle I have ever owned.  it's bullpup design and also has tons of accessories.

and last but not least  AK47  tons of fun to shoot and semi inexpensive if you get the cheap rounds.  not to mention everyone at the range gets all bent when they see one up close.

Well out of the all two guns that I've ever fired, I'd have to say the .44 Magnum revolver (the one from Dirty Harry) had an epic feel of power... I can't see it being practical in any situation (unless you're being invaded by rhinoceroses, and hey, that happens to everyone at least once), but it was fun to fire.

The glock 19 just felt a little bland after 'the 44 magnum, the MOST powerful handgun in the world'
