Ok, I'm going for my basic knife badge. I will need to have it to promtoe later so why not get it. On karkand, 6 knife kills, 6 kills, 12 points (Yep, all I did was knife kills that round) I see my fianl chance, a lone snipers watching our captured hotel. I'm gonna run pu, then bam, some n00b as engineer runs up to snaek pop him. HE FUCKING MISSES AND KILLS ME, AND THEN THE SNIPER WHIPS OUT HIS KNIFE AND STABS THE ENGINEER AND HE DIES. While we are dead, he says "Oh sorry man, didn't see you" I reply "You have fucking ruined my stats, damn n00b" and of course, my favorite server has initiated a retarded swear policy. I called MEC n00b t00bing whores, I getk icked. And now I say fuck, AND I'M BANNED FORM MY FAVORITE SERVER! FUCK!

I hate n00bs, and i miss my almost had knfie badge

Yeah I was going for my knife today at Mashtur and the same kind of thing happened to me twice. Luckily I got the last knife kill I needed with three tickets to go!

I had the same thing (minus the ban) happen to me, and I came back repeadly and got Basic and Vet on the same day. It was sweet to kill the sniper who got me. lol. And now I got EXPERT on the same server. It was awesome.

to lone n00b: yes that really sux, but if u have 50 global knife kills already, and dont have basic knife. and u kill 7 ppl w/ knife IAR, u get the basic AND veteran knife combat badge , thats how i got mine

yeah.. GOD DAMNED KNIFE BADGE...

when i wasnt trying i got like 9 kills iar without dying.. basic and vet where pretty easy... but this damn expert one... seems like im never gonna get it... been trying my ass off... today i got my ass whoped bad... like 4-6 kills with knife and 10-15 deaths .. 2-3 maps... damn.. yesterday... what happens... i got 16 kills.. running to get the rest... tickets almost run out... i se 2 prone players... thinking.. aha... sweeet.... run .. go prone.. about to stab... KAAAAAAAABBBBOOOOOOOOOOOM... asswhop(teamkills)wisher... c4 .. got to love it...

Expert knife... thats.. damn hard... that damn knife realy takes an expert.. or some statspadding.. but i dont like that..

I got my basic badge on Night Flight.. Some really fun kills .. 3 in a row on a roof once.. I wish I would have had my 50 knife kills because I'm going to have to do it again for Vet..

I know how you feel the same thing happened to me when I first tried to get the expert knife badge, I gave up after that point, Then I played a 64 size map with olny 10 people and got it, that felt good.

how about this: I see this dude coming up to get a base, but i cut off his route. He pulls out his knife, and im thinking "Sweet a knife fight". We are going back and forth trying to kill eachother for about 20-30 seconds, when what do you know, some dude comes up with the AA vehicle and shoots him and nearly kills me in the process. I hate it when crap like that happens.

AHHHHHHHHHHH i got it just now... so sweet
playing night flight... runing actually managing to stab people on the first try.. and 2 times i got up on a roof and got 6 people from behind... they where 5 in that group.. i knife 2 or 3 then this stupid medic revives one of them.. then i stab the rest.. .. i got that group 2 times.. thats 12..for the rest i ran around without dolphindiving and got the full 18.. the best is i got a bronze medal in that round..

Expert knife... finaly.. either takes a shitload of expert.. or a shitload of luck..

Nobody going for thier BASIC KNIFE has a right to complain. Bitch and moan about the difficulty of getting expert (which really is a challenge), but seriously only a n00b would have difficulty with this badge when trying for it. I got my basic just 2 weeks after the game was released. It wasn't a real challenge, I just hadn't tried for it before then.

@ Wisher1981: Expert is quite acheivable, but it does take experience and a bit of cunning. There are lots who get it on Karkand and Mash, but I preferred Sharqi as my stomping grounds for the weapon specific badges. Occasionally you'll be able to go head to head and come up with the knife kill, but it is better just to learn how to sneak in behind them and where common spots are for them to stop and shoot. Also, hunt snipers. Most of them get terrible tunnel vision because of excessive scope use.

it sucks, i feel ur pain. if u got SF try playing devils perch, thats where i got mine. play as mec, go near the stairs to upper village, stay there, wait till the seals come up. and knife them all!
