I don't know what, but once you get to lvl 55 and you get the golden Deagle, what's next? Nothing. In consoles you have the prestige mode, which is not a big deal either. I think they should add something else. The challenges are all doable and some of them are not even fun, like the ones involving shitty arms. That's where BF2 is more lasting as game. What do you think? What could they add to make the game more interesting after lvl 55?
Better maps, I'm hoping they let custom maps be ranked. (wait, can you even make custom maps? Is there a map editor?)
Clown Mode:
Everyone is dressed as clowns, instead of guns you have custard pies. Hours of fun.

Yea, reached level 55, done all challenges, now I don't feel like playing anymore...
The same here, so back to BF2 then.PBAsydney wrote:

more ranks, guns, and weapon skins, and maybe a few larger maps
Agreed. The maps are nice but they are too small. They should add awards or something, I don't know.S.Lythberg wrote:

more grenades!
errr wait no...
Just have fun playing the game, thats what it is for...

I decided to go into prestige mode today, and it's actually really good fun. I was getting bored just going around as commander killing people without any real goals.
Starting all over again with the stock weapons makes you remember how good some of them are, like how much the M16 kicks ass at long range. Apparently you can do this up to ten times. When you finish prestige for the 10th time you get a new 'special' perk that no-one actually knows about currently. I guess thats something to work towards.
I think it will help lengthen the lifespan a wee bit longer.
I would also love to see some larger maps.

Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
Um, play the game for fun after level 55? If anyone even remembers that word anymore in video games, now it's just "I have to get all this shit first and not play the game for fun", meaning the stats, ranks, unlocks, etc...
For fun I play CS, which has no stats no unlocks, nothing else. If you put ranks to a game, don't make it so easy to reach the highest rank in a day or two. Make it harder like BF2. Just a thought.firebolt5 wrote:

DF: Black Hawk Down was the same for me, no ranks no unlocks, just pure fun. I loved that game, best FPS ever.sergeriver wrote:

Let's face it, Cod4 is a CS with ranks, and less maps. Dust, Dust2, Inferno, Aztec, Train, etc, you can't beat those maps.KILLSWITCH wrote:

They need to completely redo the ranking system, add more perks, and add more maps.
That will fix it.
That will fix it.
I wouldn't know, believe it or not I've never played CS.sergeriver wrote:

Well, how about when the mod tools for CoD4 come out, you try making a couple of maps for CoD4?Spearhead wrote:

so once you get all the ranks you don't find playing the game to be fun?sergeriver wrote:

Well first off most of the BEST maps which were from COD1 are absent. Maps like Pavlov, Carentan, Harbor, etc. etc. are already made, they just didnt port them into the game.
What they're doing is making the game come with fewer maps on purpose, so they can charge console users for extras they've already made but just didnt "have the time" to put in. Us PC players will get 2 or 3 extra for free but that'll be it.
Its exactly what they did in CoD2.

maybe, add more ranks which allow you to put two or three attachments on your weapons
Keep dreaming of your M16 with Silencer, Grenade launcher and ACOG - It'll never happen.S.Lythberg wrote:

Did you complete all the challenges?

I'll take my flash bangs any day
I just want a silencer and a sight on my M4
Thats rather sad that you dont look at the quality of a game, you just rate it on how occupied it keeps you, you would probably like wow...PBAsydney wrote:
