tripod would be good too if indy had the space
that corner was so crowded for motogp main and it was only the practice day D: 2-3 ppl thick for the "good" area
pic was moto gp2. much less people taking pics then

i almost went and got a manfrotto monopod but then didnt

Anyone used a Nikon D7000? Its just been superseded by the D7100 so there are good deals.
It seems it will take my old AIS lenses, after a fashion - I'll need to number each one and program in the max aperture and focal length and link them to a dial.
16 Megapixies seems like plenty.
I know its not a full-frame sensor, so I'll need to figure out the focal length equivalents for 35mm.
And what would be a reasonable general lens? I like Nikon and Tamron.

I think the crop factor for Nikons is x1.5 so if you're using a 50mm it will be equivalent to a 75mm
