Is that some kind of train jargon?!
Erm, it is a mini train yeah, I was hoping people would think it was real >.< lololol
I have no idea the size, the width of the track was about the length of my foot??

image data i meant, sry, like focal length ~ perhaps 85 mm and 1.8 aperture .. no worries if you no understand. i want to get a good shot of the silverton train and make it look mini..
Haha yeah, I thought that's what you meant initially. But yeah...it is an actual mini train, no camera tricks!

What lenses did you get with it besides the 75-300?

do yourself a favor. get a Canon 1.8 50mm lens. test the aperture, and post everything, believing the feedback you get.RTHKI wrote:

what a forest
the 18-55 good for start i'd just stick with that for a year first
but what if you had to choose between 10-20mm and 70-200mm?
see what i mean?
at least, when you learn aperture, mm follows.
btw, <3 ur photography Kimmmmmms. it makes my heart glad.

I second that; the 50 was the best lens to learn the basics with when I was first starting out. Its one hell of a lens for the price too. If you are wanting to dive into macro, you should look into getting extension tubes or reversing rings for your lenses. Rings and tubes give you lots of magnification with no image degradation and they wont cost you more than $15 (unless you go for tubes with electrical contacts)13urnzz wrote:

love the stars
ok i didnt get a 50 till last year and it is a good lens - it is also the minimum you need for the macro tube . but you said you were NEW at this so i figured the kit would be good enough for now.
