What do you guys think? Are looks or personality a bigger factor in long term attraction? In other words, would you pick a hotter woman with less personality to stay with or a girl with more average looks but a sparkling personality?

For me, looks were the initial attraction and personality kept me interested. So personality ended up mattering more. She is hot, though.

For me there has to be an initial physical attraction to pique my interest. From there, personality has to hold my interest. In the long run, the personality has to be intriguing enough for me to pursue a relationship.

Of course, no attraction means no relationship, even with a great personality. It really depends how picky you are over looks. Yet, even high standards would be not much of a problem- There are attractive people who do have an excellent mind.
Eh, someone has to be sort of attractive to catch my attention, but once I got to know them, it doesn't really matter. I have a certain standard of looks, but above that, it's all good. I can't stand empty/shallow people though, therefore, I think personality is quite important.

Looks first, then personality. Sometimes you get to know a girl on a friendly basis who's not necessarily hot and her personality makes up for it once you get to know her. But normally, there has to be a physical attraction to even get a chance to learn what their personality is like.

Since there's no both option I voted for looks, coz I never tried an approach on a girl if she wasn't hot. Then you can find out whether she is smart too or she just deserves a fuck.
