Ok. I didn't know where to put this poll, so mods, please feel free to move it if needed.
Anyway, I can get either COD4 or Crysis for Christmas.
I played COD4 demo, and I liked it, but the gfx seemed a bit too much like COD 2.
I tried to play the Crysis demo, but for some reaon, it doesn't work. ( Finish installing, happily tries to play, nothing)
What should I get?
The editor in Crysis looks nice, but.....
Also, how much gfx difference is there between COD4 and Crysis?
Can you destroy buildings in COD4?

CoD4, great graphics without needing a beefy PC, great gameplay, great single player

You can't destroy buildings in CoD4, but you can shoot through walls (Depending on the gun and your perks). Great fun. Crysis technically looks better, but it's hard to achieve that sublime, ultimate level of graphics without a strong strong strong PC.

Just having a look at the threads on COD4 and Crysis forums, along with those here, it's pretty clear that Crysis has been one huge disappointment.

There's not much in the way of multiplayer. If you want it for the graphics, you won't be able to play at max settings no matter what rig you play on, and still get playable fps.

I've had a look at both options, and have bought cod4 from ebay, expecting it next week.

This is a very sad thread. Crysis was made way too advanced for the average PC Gamer's computer. I think of my Rig at the higher end of the spectrum, and I still can barely run it on all high without AA.

Crysis isn't made for this time, it will work much better months from now when there is more powerful hardware on the market. Call of duty 4 works great on today's hardware. I'd go with COD4
