Lately I have been seeing more and more American cars, these I have seen this week alone, several Chrysler 300C's, a few Dodge Caliber's, a least three different types of new model Cadillacs, an Escalade, a Licoln Navigator, three Humvees (two H2's and one H3), and a 90's era Chevy Camaro. Besides these I have also seen several Mustangs and even a Corvette over the past few months. I don't live in a big city, and surprisingly I haven't seen these vehicles in the two nearest cities but more around the smaller town I live near. Are these vehicles gaining in popularity overseas? Seeing as a large number have appeared over the past few years and months.

No, expensive/exclusive US cars were always popular. It's just the mainstream US cars were always shit and never sold outside of N.America.

Things like the 300C and stuff are less expensive than a lot of European counterpart cars, like BM's and Mercs.

Nope I live in between Newcastle and Sunderland. I know one of those Humvees belongs to a footballer, but theres still quite a lot of them around.

I can only imagine in a NEW Chevy Camaro. Hell ya some American cars are burning up the style road. 300's are beautiful and get dressed up pretty nice for urban streets.

Only the C-300 is popular here in Finland. Atleast in my experience.
The car sucks appart from the looks though, too big and clumsy.

The cheap dollar brings the prices down quite a bit, so they might become more popular over time.
On the other hand after the car taxes were revised (based on emissions now) some prices might end up increasing.

Jags = shit, to be perfectly honest. The 4 mechanics that will work on them, won't, because they are complicated bitches.

GM bought out Daewoo and renamed all the cars. Same crap korean build quality, only with the stamp of American dodgy politics on them.

Cadillac, esp. the CTS is gaining popularity rather quickly, for it seems to be an overall better car than the C-Class, G35 etc.  Not quite a performance match as the 3 Series yet tho.

And everyone loves the bling of a giant American Escalade.

No. You see the odd 300c, and maybe a H2 here and there, but i see more F430's and Gallardos than any American car.

Stop being high. The question is what British car companies sell in the United States, but aren't considered luxury cars. Example would be MINI and the like, I'd go so far as to say Jaguar as well.

I've never seen a Lotus over here just driving around; however, I have seen a Bentley, a Rolls, and an Aston <<< all luxury/luxury sports cars. I really can't make the question any clearer. You'll just have to wait until you come down from being high and are through with that hangover.

Ford sales were up 4.8% in October (4th overall). Dodge is up 136% in Europe for the year. Not the top sellers but an increase.

Nope, not around here. Mostly Peugeot, Citroen, BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Toyota etc. Ford has its fair share of cars around here but they have always had so that doesn't count as gaining popularity.
