What is the best hair gel to use? or which one do you use? which one would you recommend for thick hair?

For example when washing your hair -- and using a shampoo you can set your hair any way you want (because shampoo is dense) any hair gel's that are dense in a similar form--- any good strong hair gel's like that.

What kind of hold you looking for?  Hurricane proof or just enough to tame it?  I keep my hairstyle pretty short and I use Redken 13 nylon clay.  That's the hurricane proof stuff.   Redken has very good products.

I use brylcreem easy wash wax.

Yes if it rains not much left on ya hair, but it pretty good stuff and find don't have to warm it up just add a little water.

Sebatian hair wax. It is the win. Or you can try Gatsby.

my hair is too thick and long for gel, unless anyone can prove me wrong with a product?

well like I said, when I wash my hair with shampoo I can make my hair spiky or into a ,mohawk but when I try an ordinary gel its too weak to make it stay straight up as when you are using your shampoo or something, because the shampoo provides that thick texture.

There was some brand they advertised in "Something About Mary" that's supposed to work pretty well...

I had your problem before- long hair needs some serious gel if you want it to stay up.

The answer is not gel! Gel is shit and does fuck all, especially if it rains. Use clay or something similar. It should be dense, like similar to, well, clay. This seems to get the best result. Try and get a vaguely expensive one, as the cheap ones have always been shit for me. But you don't need to spend a stupid amount.

Also, before putting the clay on I always make sure its 100% dry and rub my hair with a towel quite roughly to give it some life.

so youre looking for the mohawk hold.
aight. i have a mohawk now and i use pomade and the got2b hair spray *the mega super freakin leet hold*
get the hair damp, apply pomade evenly and comb it through, dont use too much or it'll look like youve got dandruff. that stuff works and i also have very dense hair.  then just do what ya want with the hair, use the spray and either blow dry it or let it dry on its own *which is what i do since i have no hair dryer*

I used it when i spiked my hair.
That shit holds like no other.
Just go into a beauty supply store that your wife/mom/girlfriend goes to and ask for Ice styling gel.

I use  Shock Waves Go Matt Clay. Although I just use it to keep it down a bit.
I've heard V05 clay is very good, and you can get this stuff that looks like spiders web, and you're meant to put it on your hands and clap it over your head.. but it's my mates sister (whoa is she hot)'s Salon Stuff and at like 30 quid a pop.. not worth it. Unless you get laid.
