I anoint him Backflip Bert. And yes, the semi-circular canals contain a liquid which controls our balance. Alcohol affects this and so while you may not be falling over, you think you are and in trying to correct it, you end up going the wrong way. Strangely enough, if u drink too much, your brain re-adjusts and you become stable while you're drunk and unbalanced while you're sober
